St. Joseph, MO (2010-06-25) The previously dry campus at Missouri Western in St. Joseph will no longer be dry.

The Board of Governors has approved limited beer and wine consumption at Missouri Western.

The plan is in response to the new Chiefs training camp being built on campus.

Drinking will also be allowed at three designated rooms in Spratt Hall, the Fulkerson Center Convention facility, and the Science and Technology Incubator on campus.

All alcohol will only be allowed at events related to the Chief's summer training camp which opens next month and will be banned from all other areas of Missouri Western.
