St. Joseph, MO (2010-06-02) Families needing help with utility bills can now find it.

The Community Action Partnership of greater St. Joseph's home energy assistance program or... "li-heap"... is now available for families in danger of losing electric service.
According to the Community Action Partnership Li-heap can help get electricity turned back on or prevent sevice intreuptions.
Stephanine Lux of the Action Partnership in St. Joseph says a family of 4 making less than 28,000 a year would be eligible for help.
