Chillicothe, MO (2010-06-08) The C-E-O calls it going "back to the drawing board" for Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
The hospital had struck a deal to build a new facility with the city.... but voters rejected the plan in February.
Now...... Hedrick C-E-O Jim Johnson says they'll be looking at 4 different scenarios the next couple of months.
Those include not remodeling the nearly 40 year old facility at all, staying and remodeling.... remodeling and adding on.... or going to a new site and building a new hospital.
Those public meetings will begin in August or early this fall.
Johnson says he's sure public funding will have to be used.
Johnson adds one of the options they're *not* considering is leaving Chillicothe- he says Hedrick Medical Center is here to stay.
