MARYVILLE, MO (2010-06-30) The 2010-2011 season of the Encore Performance Series is announced.

And this time a unique opportunity is being offered.

The arts series at Northwest Missouri State University offers a diverse group of the performing arts every year.

This year's lineup includes a dance company from the Philippines, a celtic, bluegrass, and inspirational family music group, the classic American drama "The Bus Stop" and a New Orleans brass band straight from the Big Easy.

Encore Director Angel McAdams-Prescott says the big community connection will be the touring production of "The Wizard of Oz" the last part of November- complete with local cast members.

Munchikin casting will be in the early fall.

Ticket sales for this year's encore series start August second.
