Chillicothe, MO (2010-06-15) The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is holding meetings statewide to discuss elder abuse.
The meetings are designed to help elders recognize the signs of abuse and to encourage them to talk to others about those signs.
Meetings begin Thursday at 11:00 at the Cameron, Missouri Nutrition Site on East Third Street.
Additional meetings will be held Tuesday, June 22 at 10:45 at the Mercer County Senior Center in Princeton and Friday, June 25th at 11:30 at the Grand River Multipurpose Center in Chillicothe.
