Director Named President

Chillicothe, MO (2010-06-25) The head of Chillicothe's Tourism efforts has been named as President of the Missouri Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus.

Amy Supple is the director of the Greater Chillicothe Visitors Region.

She'll now serve simultaneously as the leader of the state organization as well.

Supple's position will concentrate on lobbying lawmakers on the importance of tourism in the state as well as other responsibilities.

She's served as the director in Chillicothe since 2001.
