Chillicothe, MO (2010-06-09) Authorities say it could be Friday before they can reach two broken water lines and restore water services to about 5 thousand rural North Central Missourians.
The flooding from the Grand broke the lines south of Highway 65 on the south side of Chillicothe.... knocking out water to two different rural water systems covering Livingston, Carroll, and Caldwell counties.
Darrell Wright is the Co-Director of Livingston County Emergency Management.
He says they have to wait for the water to drain before they can find and fix the break.
Meanwhile drinking water to those effected is being distributed by the water districts.
Wright says the water left in the tower for households could be used up by tonight.
