Chillicothe, MO (2010-06-03) Major League Baseball maybe underway already but for Chillicothe the opener is just a few days away.

The Chillicothe Mudcats will open the season at Shaffer Stadium by taking on the Macon County Boyz this Saturday.
General Manager Liz Fechtig (feck-tig) says the Mudcats will look to build on last seasons success.
Fechtig (feck-tig) also says the games are great family entertainment.
First pitch for the season opener is scheduled for 7:05 on Saturday.
