MARYVILLE, MO (2009-06-02) The House member from Maryville is pleased his bill is now law that makes tractor parades legal in Missouri.
Mike Thomson's House Bill 93 was recently signed to allow tractor parades… just in time for one of the largest in the state, which will start in Maryville later this month.
Thomson was with Governor Nixon as he signed the bill into law, saying the parades in still heritage.
The new law specifically allows tractors to be driven on Missouri roadways by licensed drivers during daylight hours for fund raising events, with the approval of the Missouri Highway Patrol.
