MARYVILLE, MO (2009-06-25) With the incoming President of Northwest Missouri State comes new positions in a number of leadership roles within the institution.
The 10th President of Northwest, Doctor John Jasinski, officially starts July first but is announcing some changes for key management positions.
Mary Throener (trainer), is postponing her retirement to stay in her current role plus add the title and additional duties of Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness.
The Vice President of Finance has announced he's retiring after 37 years at Northwest, but will stay on a part-time consulting basis the next few months.
His position will be temporarily filled by Dan Edmonds, a certified public accountant and current controller who's worked at Northwest since 1981.
And the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Orrie Covert, will be temporarily filling the position of Vice President of Marketing and University Relations as that department head is also retiring.
