MARYVILLE, MO (2009-06-16) Overnight rains soaking the region cause flooding this morning in at least a dozen campus buildings at Northwest Missouri State.
That's according to Ivan Bass.
He's the Associate Director of Custodial Services and was in early this morning setting up fans in one academic building to take care of the rain-soaked carpet.
Bass says most of the flooding came in through doors of the basement levels of most of the effected buildings.
Some of the University's underground steam heating tunnels were also flooded.
Many summer classes at Northwest today have been moved to other rooms as the clean up continues.
