Jefferson City, MO (2009-06-30) The list of projects included in Missouri House Bill 22 includes millions for our area being paid for by Federal Stimulus tax dollars.

That includes 671 thousand dollars to upgrade a University of Missouri Headquarters and Meeting Room in Grundy County…. The sharing of nearly a million and a half dollars going to Big Lake State Park in Craig…. Nearly 580 thousand dollars for a University of Missouri Meeting and Education Facility in Atchison and Holt counties… and upgrades to Crowder State Park near Trenton.

Missouri lawmakers in the Republican-lead statehouse tried to earmark Federal stimulus funds to one-time projects, not ongoing ones.
