Chiefs Camp Breaking

St. Joseph, MO (2009-06-30) Construction is set to begin after the Fourth of july now that groundbreaking has happened on the 10 million dollar Chiefs training camp in St. Joseph.

The ceremony this (yesterday) morning brought in Governor Jay Nixon as one of the dignitaries.

Crossland Construction Company will oversee the facility build, but plans on hiring 11 sub-contractors from St. Joseph, including heating and cooling experts as well as roofing sub-contractors.

A St. Joseph architect also designed the indoor training facility.
