St. Joseph, MO (2009-06-19) The sounds of jazz come back to St Joseph with the Annual Colemen Hawkins Jazz Festival this weekend.

The music starts tonight at six with the Missouri Western All Stars Band and Jazz Artist Max Groove.
The Ashanti Latin Jazz Band headlines the festival tomorrow night.
Some other acts are Kathleen Holeman, Aftergroove and Steve Hall.
Mark Sheehan is the President of the Coleman Hawkins Jazz Society.
Sheehan says he is most excited to see a Latin band finally on the stage this year.
The music starts at six tonight and tomorrow at one in the afternoon at the Coleman Hawkins Park in downtown St Joseph.
