Albany, MO (2009-06-02) Albany R-3 School District budget for the next year is nearing completion.

The budget for the 2-thouand-9, 2-thousnad-10 school year includes a pay raise for the districts teachers.

School Superintendent, Bryan Prewitt, says giving the teachers a raise was something they wanted to do, they just had to make the right cuts to fit it in.

The final budgets presentation is scheduled for the June 17th meeting.
