With the rise in temperatures, bugs are becoming a serious problem for the Midwest.
An Omaha man’s apartment has been infested with poisonous brown recluse spiders. The spiders are native to the Midwest and have likely seen a spike in population because of the warm winter and hot summer. Another pest in the area to be on the look out for is ticks. Ticks carry many harmful diseases, Nodaway Health Center Administrator Della Rhodes says ticks are a problem and removing them properly is important so you do not pass their diseases to yourself.
