Roadway Safety Grants

The Northwest Regional Coalition for Roadway Safety implemented a new grant application program last year to fund improvement for safety on our roads.

9 programs were approved for funding this year including St. Joseph's I'm A Safe Driver and Northwest Arrive Alive Transportation Fair. Missouri Department of Transportation Customer Relations Manager Melissa Black says to be eligible for a grant, programs must address an emphasis area such as serious crash types or high-risk drivers.
