Regional Storm Damage/Rain Amounts

After last nights Thunderstorms moved through a large portion of our listening area- minor damage is being reported this morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill.....In Missouri, Gentry County has reported power outages. Several trees were knocked down and a pontoon boat was reportedly thrown into a road in Albany. In Iowa, near Blanchard in Page County, a Horse barn lost it's roof by strong thunderstorm wind gusts- and reported receiving one and a quarter inches of rain during last night's downpour. Ken Brownis with the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill says Burlington Junction received the most rain from the storms at under two inches.
