NORTHWEST MISSOURI (2012-07-12)
The Northwest Missouri State Board of Regents met in special session yesterday afternoon by phone to further review the University's Educational and General funds budget and a proposal to bring salaries for faculty and staff up to 90 percent of market value.
All five current Board members were available with the issue receiving a 3-2 favorable vote...but failed due to a lack of a quorum because of Regent positions unfilled at this time. University officials pointed out to the Board prior to the vote...Northwest funding for salaries is second lowest of schools in the M-I-double-A.
