NW Course Redesign

MARYVILLE, MO (2012-07-02)

After more than a year of work, Northwest Missouri State University officials have redesigned several courses.

During the spring trimester Northwest successfully piloted three courses; general psychology, developmental mathematics, and principles of management.. These courses were redesigned to integrate technology and teach more effectively. The goal was to enhance students' grasp of the concepts they learn in the courses. Assistant Director and Curricular Design Specialist Dr. Darla Runyon says the course redesigns will provide students more time with actual course content.

Runyon says the changes will be implemented in the upcoming fall trimester. She says the changes should help student grades and understanding of the course content.
