Nodaway Fatal Accident

A Texas man was found dead yesterday morning after a motorcycle accident on the 4th of July.

52 year old Steven Essendrup was driving westbound on Missouri 46 about 5 miles west of Maryville. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 9 o'clock Wednesday evening, Essendrup lost control of his Harley Davidson and struck a ditch. Essendrup was ejected from the vehicle, which continued into a pond. Essendrup was discovered just before 7 yesterday morning and pronounced dead by the Nodaway County Coroner.
