Clarinda Regional Health Center officials have announced the addition of a new in-house "Open-bore" M-R-I service.

The new Health Center was opened in January, and since has been using a mobile M-R-I that was only available twice a week to the public. Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Clarinda Regional Health Center, Jason Bridie, says this is part of their commitment to health care in the region.

Bridie adds the new equipment should benefit a number of patients in the region.Bridie says the new M-R-I machine will be installed the first week of August should be operational on August 27th.
