MARYVILLE, MO (2012-07-25)
Maryville Public Safety officers will have an easier time identifying car licenses thanks to a grant from the Missouri Police Chiefs Association.
The grant allows Maryville Public Safety to purchase an Automated License Plate Reader that Maryville M-P-S Director Keith Wood says will offer several benefits for his department.
Wood says the Automated License Plate Reader will be especially helpful during special events held in Maryville making it easier to identify who's attending those activities. The grant to purchase the equipment was for approximately 20,000 dollars.© Copyright, KXCV
