Maryville Council to review Comprehensive Plan

MARYVILLE, MO (2012-07-11)

The Maryville City Council's action this week approving changes to the City's zoning ordinance is just the first phase of a long-range Comprehensive Plan.

That's according to Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel.

While the changes approved Monday deal primarily with zoning in the neighborhoods surrounding the Northwest Missouri State campus, Maryville Mayor Glenn Jonagon says the comprehensive plan will take a broader view of the community.Jonagon says the Council will have a study session later this month and then address the issue again in August.
