MARYVILLE, MO (2012-07-23)
Temperatures in Missouri this summer are record high and so are electric bills.
According to figures released from the Missouri State Climate Center, the last time the state had 100 plus degree temperatures in June was in 1988. The period between May and June this year rank as the 6th driest May-June period on record and the driest since 1988. Cooling specialist with Geist Heating and Air Conditioning from Maryville, John Nickerson, says keeping the sunshine out of your home will help keep bills down.
