A dangerous intersection northeast of Maryville is being audited.

Regional Planner at Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments Dana Ternus says the road safety audit of the Highway 136 and 148 intersection will hopefully bring about changes.

Ternus says they look for low cost changes that can be implemented easily such as warning signs or lights and reduced speed signs.
