3 Iowa residents suffered minor injuries in a crash on U.S.

Highway 71...5 miles south of Maryville this morning. According to reports from the Missouri State Highway patrol, 77-year-old Mary Williams of Clarinda was injured while traveling south when she attempted to make a left turn from the right lane. Her pickup was struck in the driver's side door by a car driven by Kristin Misner of Griswold, Iowa. 2 passengers in Misner's car and Williams were taken to St. Francis Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. Both drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts.
