Crop Report

Totusek

MO (2012-07-04)

A lack of rain and scorching temperatures are starting to cause serious trouble with crops this summer.

So far, crops have been able to tough out the dry weather, but they are now about to set kernels and bean pods and desperately need water to set full crop. Manager of MFA Ag Services in Albany David Cooper says the solution to this problem is water - and a lot of it.

Cooper says if this crop season does not receive the water it needs for a full crop, what does grow can be used for silage.
