CHILLICOTHE, MO (2012-07-26)

The Chillicothe Board of Education held a special meeting this week, where they discussed finance resolutions and considered bids for the high school parking lot.

Superintendent, Roger Barnes, says the new parking lot is long over due, and the board received no opposition when considering bids.

After the open session, the board adjourned in to an Executive Session, where they negotiated a contract with the selected bidder for the parking lot. Barnes adds they are hoping to have the parking lot done within the first few weeks of school.The Chillicothe Board also announced the hiring Troy Fig as the school's new baseball coach.
