Totusek

MARYVILLE, MO (2012-07-12)

The Rolling Hills Library in St. Joseph is hosting a chess class this summer for players of all ages and skills.

Three sessions will be held beginning July 13th, and will feature 30 minutes of instruction followed by playing time. Beginning players will work with library staff member Martin Canchola and advanced players will work with Byron Williamason- a former instructor for the Kansas City Chess Club. Canchola said that the class is a great opportunity for interested players to improve their skills and for adults who are looking for a mentioning opportunity.

The chess class meetings begin at 2PM Fridays, July 13th, 20th and 27th at the Rolling Hills Library at 1904 N. Belt Highway. The program is free and open to the public.
