The Missouri Cattleman's Association named Savannah native, Mike Deering their new Executive Vice President.

Deering says this job will have him working with the grass roots cattlemen and women.

Before this position, Deering was Head of Communications for the National Cattleman's Beef Association. He says this career seemed like the right move since he grew up around cows his whole life.Deering will assume the Executive Vice President position on September 23.
