Water Rate Increases

Maryville residents will soon see their water and sewer rates increase by 20% apiece.

That's the vote at last night's city council. City manager Matt Lecurf says the large hike now should mean no changes for the next several years. He adds the money generated will also help all residents.

The water and sewer rate increase should be reflected starting in the September bills.
