MARYVILLE, MO (2011-07-19)
University students in Maryville now have an even cheaper way to get an education: Textbook rentals will be available next month at the Barnes and Noble store on campus.
For years students at the school have rented their textbooks as part of the tuition, but now, supplemental books instructors require for class can be rented from the Barnes and Noble at about half the cost of purchasing. Bookstore manager Scott Yokum says students can even highlight and mark in the just as if they were bought.
The bookstore will still sell books if requested, and students at Northwest can also digitally download select titles for classes.© Copyright, KXCV
