Stench In Rockport

ATCHISON COUNTY, MO (2011-07-22)

As the flooding continues in Atchison county a potent stench follows.

While the flood water remains in Rockport, now people have the terrible smell to go along with the mounting problems. Atchison County Emergency Management director Rhonda Wiley says it smells similar to a sewer.

Wiley adds the stench probably does not pose a health risk.Wiley says the smell will most likely be around for some time.
