The St. Joseph City Council meets tonight.

On the agenda is authorization of contracts with social service agencies as part of community development block grant funds, approving a two-screen drive in movie theater on South 169 Highway, moving about $42,000 to cover a budget shortfall, and officially amending a city ordinance to raise the hotel/motel tax after voters approved the increase last month. The St. Joseph City Council meeting starts tonight at 7.
