Robbery Suspect Arrested

A St. Joseph man is arrested after a weekend robbery of a gas station there.

Police say Shawn Hawkins was found close to the quick stop on Frederick Avenue shortly after it was robbed late Saturday night. Investigators say the suspect had a gun and left on foot with cash. They say Hawkins had a gun when he was found in the area. He faces a second degree robbery charge and is jailed on a $75,000 bond.
