The Nodaway County Fair is under way and runs through Saturday evening.

New this year is Rainbow Trout the Clown who will be on hand for children and for face painting. General manager of the fair Brian McPherson says tonight the 4-H and FFA Livestock Show will be at the Maryville Community Building. Many other events take place later this week.

McPherson adds the parade will take place Saturday morning at 9:30 with line up beginning at 7 at the parking lot by the Fine Arts Building located on Northwest's campus.
