MARYVILLE, MO (2011-07-04)

Missouri's National Education Association will hold a convention in Chicago.

The meeting is part of the NEA's annual meeting called representative assembly. Educators will discuss Missouri's and the nation's most pressing education issues. President of NEA Chris Guinther says people from the state as well as the world will be attending the conference.

Guinther adds NEA's goal is to provide every child with a great public school. The convention runs through Tuesday.
