30 years have passed since the Ken Rex McElroy killing in Skidmore, and the case remains open.

Sunday marked the anniversary of his shooting death and despite an estimated 45 witnesses, not one has come forth to identify the gunman that killed what many described as an evil bully. In a KXCV interview just 3 weeks after her husband was killed, his widow Trena McElroy recalled the events leading up to McElroy's death.

McElroy is buried in a St. Joseph Cemetery. There have been no charges filed in the case.
