New programs are now available to aid farmers in financing for purchases of livestock feed and inputs for livestock feed crops.

The livestock feed and crop input program is a loan guarantee. Executive director of Missouri Agriculture and small business authority Tony Stafford says this will help area farmers.

Stafford says eligible producers must be Missouri residents with less than 10% down payment on their loan. Loans must be used to purchase livestock feed or crops produced for feed.
