Evacuation Testing

As we first told you yesterday, storm sirens will be going off in St. Joseph to test the flood emergency evacuation plans.

City officials are advising residents despite the high water on the Missouri River, this afternoon's siren sounding is simply a drill and evacuation won't be necessary. That test is set to happen at 3 O'clock.
