Buchanan county officials will have a meeting tonight for county and lake contrary residents protected by levee L-455.

Officials will discuss the evacuation plan and procedures if levee L-455 would fail or be overtopped. The city of St. Joseph Communications manager Mary Robertson says the emergency evacuation plan mirrors the city's, however the county wants to take every precaution.

Robertson adds levee L-455 is being monitored by city and Missouri National Guard Personnel and appears to be secure at this point.
