The Auburn Nebraska Parade route has been changed for Friday.

The Missouri River flooding has caused city officials in Auburn to re-route the parade to provide a safer parade route for everyone. Office manager for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce Rene Danley says the change was the best decision.

Danley adds this year the city has decided to only have the parade 1 day instead of 2 like years past. Line up begins at 5 Friday evening with the parade following at 6.
