Ameren Rate Increase

Electric customers of Ameren Missouri will soon see their bills go up.

State regulators have approved a 172 million dollar rate increase for the company, to reflect the increasing costs of providing service to its customers. The impact on the average residential customer's electric bill is about $8 a month extra. It's expected to take effect in August.
