ALBANY, MO (2011-07-26)
In the midst of the budget shortfall the Albany School Board plans to raise substitute pay for the 2011-12 school year.
This was just one topic discussed during the board meeting last week. Some other topics were approving the Anderson Erickison milk bid and Hy-Vee bread bid for next school year. The board also approved a $0.05 raise to school lunch prices. Albany R-3 superintendent Bryan Prewitt says with state and federal revenues declining Albany is still getting by.
Prewitt adds Albany School District will move to a four day school week for the 2011-12 school year.© Copyright, KXCV
