MARYVILLE, MO (2010-07-02) It's not just the highways that are dangerous during this fourth of July.
Extra people on the water means area lakes can also create problems- and that's why enforcement is stepping up this weekend.
Sergeant Rick Smail is in charge of water patrol at Mozingo Lake east of Maryville.
He says extra patrols will be out on the water there looking for red flags and keeping people safe.
Smail adds the R-V Park at the Maryville lake has been sold out and expects about 150 boats on the water during this extended fourth of July weekend.
