Trenton, MO (2010-07-01) Six new jobs for Trenton and a new pharmacy is the result of state loans the Missouri Treasurer touted yesterday while visiting the Grundy County seat.

Clint Zweifel (zw-eye-full) says a 120 thousand dollar loan through the Missouri Linked Deposit Program helped create the new business and positions.

While in Trenton he also promoted the number of loans Northwest Missourians have used through the state program.

Since January of last year more than 230 loans totaling nearly 20 million dollars have been used in the 15 counties that make up Northwest Missouri.

The state treasurer says most have been applied for from nearly 2 hundred farmers... resulting in one hundred and eleven jobs in the 15 county region.
