Trenton Council Meeting

Wayman

Trenton, MO (2010-07-14) Another demolition project is set to start at the end of the month in Trenton.

At this week's City Council meeting, members approved a contract with a Hamilton Missouri company to tear down 13 structures around Trenton.

The move is to remove blighted and unsafe houses around the city.

The cost for demolishing the 13 structures will be a little more than 34 thousand dollars.

The Trenton Council also purchased an S-U-V from Barnes-Baker Automotive, which will be partially paid for through a U-S-D-A grant.

And the Council appointed Steve Perry to the Trenton Park Board and Tonya Wilcutts to the Historic Preservation Committee.
