MARYVILLE, MO (2010-07-02) The fourth is just around the corner and there is quite a bit of activity going on this weekend.
In Maryville, there will be a display at Mozingo starting at dark.
The City of Saint Joesph is holding a fireworks display at the Heritage Park Softball Complex.
The doors open to the public at 7 and will feature the band "The Motors" and the show will begin around 9:40.
Due to city restrictions, sparkelers and other non exploding fireworks are the only ones allowed in St. Joseph for residents.
The City of Bethany will be holding a parade at 3 around the central square that continues through the city park.
Following the parade, there will be an ice cream social at the park.
Afterwards, there will be a fireworks display on the fairgrounds in the evening.
The City of Albany is hosting their firework display at the Albany Golf Course at dusk.
In Clarinda, the town's very own Clarinda "A's" will be hosting a fireworks display on July third.
Because of state restrictions, no private fireworks are allowed without a permit.
In Chillicothe, there will be a "Freedom Festival" at Simpson Park starting at 6 o-clock on the Fourth of July and will host live music.
The City of Trenton is having a celbration downtown.
It will include all local entertainment including live music and storytellers.
There will be a children's parade at 4 followed by free watermelon at 5.
The display will be held atTtrenton Lake at dark.
