MARYVILLE, MO (2010-07-16) V-F-W Halls and American Legion Clubs in our region could see profits rise now that a new law has been signed by Missouri's Governor.
Starting August 28th, Fraternal and Veterans groups will be able to host bingo games twice a week instead of just once.
They'll also be free to expand their operating hours, spend more on advertising, and hold up to 15 pull tab events every year instead of just four.
Dewey Riehn (reen) is with the Veterans of Foreign Wars:
Some groups in Missouri have dropped bingo because of current restrictions.
The dollars earned from the games go toward Veterans' Homes and other non-profit and charitable causes.
